Grooming - Look Younger
We all know people who look older than they are and also people who look much younger than they are. So what is the secret ingredient, potion or pill?
It is no one thing but a combination of things, all priceless but thankfully some free.
Here are our Top 20 Tips to Keep you Looking and Feeling Your Best.
- Sleep well, aim for 8 hrs a night as your body repairs during sleep.
- Drink plenty of fresh, clean water, ideally 2 litres a day.
- Eat lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, pulses, lean fish or chicken. Eat small amounts of anything else you need to make you feel good, but only small quantities.
- Stand, sit and walk tall. Think about your posture throughout the day and correct it often, shoulders back, chest out and tummy in.
- Be grateful and positive and smile to yourself and everyone around you.
- Go for a walk every day and breathe in fresh air.
- Exercise your body and your face.
- Stretch and breath deeply every day, try yoga or Pilates.
- Enjoy a good sex life.
- Make goals and try to achieve them, continue to learn and expand your knowledge.
- Do something you enjoy every day, have some Me Time.
- Laugh and have fun.
- Get a good hair cut, wash and style it every day, don’t be afraid to change your look and keep colouring your hair.
- Exfoliate your body and face.
- Visit the dentist and hygienist regularly and get your teeth cleaned and whitened.
- Use the best skin care you can afford, give yourself a facial at home, or better still visit a salon on a regular basis.
- Play with make up, have lessons and find a look that is right for you, update and change it from time to time.
- Update your wardrobe, if in doubt get advice from an expert.
- Learn to massage your self and your partner, or better still visit a salon on a regular basis, even if it is only once a year!
- Love who you are.
